We hate to break bad news but this isn’t actually the case, although there are loads of girls here and they are more often than not steaming hot, so this give Nottingham a big tick from the outset when planning your UK stag weekend.
Where to go in Nottingham?
By day there is one place that cries out for stag weekend fun and that is the historic Sherwood Forest where paintballing and quad biking are on the agenda if you want to kick off your weekend with some muddy rough and tumble.
At night the city centre comes to life and with so many students living here this isn’t any surprise, although you do wonder how they get any studying done with so many nightclubs and pubs to spend their hours enjoying. One of the most famous pubs Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, which supposedly dates back to 1189, but there are modern establishments too if ale and nostelgia isn’t your cup of tea (or should that be pint of beer).
The trend setters head to the Lace Market area where you can also try your hand in a casino or visit some late night entertainment for which stags are known to enjoy.
