One of the most popular stag evening time filler is to visit a comedy club and leave it to the professionals to humiliate the stag for a short time.
Most of the top destinations have at least one comedy club and even if they are not up to the standard of those in Edinburgh or in Leicester Square you are usually too drunk to really care and either way you won’t remember the jokes in the morning.
There is no danger of sobering up as the acts are well timed to allow for plenty of trips to the bar in between laughs, while you can usually get food to so that can tick off another of the evening’s necessaries in one go.
Our advice to stags is to get the main man dressed up to the hilt before the performance starts and sit him as close to the front as possible, but beware some comedians will decide the best man and company deserve the ribbing if they feel sorry for the stag, but either way you’ll laugh your socks off.
